A Sunset Wedding in Santorini – Greece

It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to shoot this wedding in Santorini. This sunset wedding had only two guests and was such an intimate affair. Santorini is reputed to be one of the most romantic wedding locations in the world and for good reason. This wedding was beautiful and since it was out of season the village (Oia), was totally peaceful.  That was just perfect for one of our last weddings of the season. The ceremony took place at Ikies Traditional Houses which is an exceptional venue and offers romantic accommodation. Steve and Cassie had their honeymoon and wedding built into one. This wedding was recently published on top US wedding blog, Style Me Pretty.

The editor of Style Me Pretty had these kind words to say: “I can barely breathe this wedding is so beyond. It’s so pretty I could cry, and has me suffering from a serious case of wanderlust. It’s beautiful, gorgeous, breathtaking – every adjective I’ve ever uttered fits nicely in describing this gorgeous set of images from Sarah Falugo Photography.”

Beautiful! These images brought tears to my eyes. I spent my honeymoon in Oia last may and my heart aches to go back. So many good memories are brought to mind by looking at your beautiful images!

Just stumbled upon your site and had to say how beautiful your work is. I love them all, but in particular the Greece seascapes – enchanting.

Great post! Beautiful photos. If you visit Santorini, you must go to the winery located in the village of Megalochori! There’s some information about it here: http://sophant.co.uk/what-to-do-in-santorini/
